Nothing Before Coffee (NBC), a QSR coffee chain, has achieved a landmark milestone with the launch of its 100th outlet in Vadodara, Gujarat. Founded in 2017 in Jaipur, NBC has rapidly expanded across 36 cities in 14 states, including Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Chhattisgarh, and Punjab, making it one of India’s most prominent homegrown café chains.

NBC recently raised $2.3 million in a Pre-Series A funding round, led by Prath Ventures with participation from SYL Investments, underscoring investor confidence in its mission to redefine café culture in Tier-II and Tier-III markets, which remain largely untapped by premium global players.

To celebrate the milestone, NBC announced a special 100 nationwide offer for coffee lovers, redeemable via its app by following its Instagram handle and DMing “100 stores.”

Speaking on the achievement, Akshay Kedia, Co-founder of Nothing Before Coffee, said, “Our vision is to make Nothing Before Coffee India’s most loved homegrown coffee chain by delivering authentic, affordable, and culturally resonant café experiences. Reaching our 100th store is both a proud and humbling milestone, born from our mission to bring quality coffee to every corner of India, from bustling metros to emerging towns. This ₹100 offer is our way of expressing heartfelt gratitude for the incredible support of our customers. With strong unit economics and unwavering consumer trust, we are now poised to scale rapidly.”

NBC plans to add 80+ new outlets by FY2026, expanding into both metro hubs and emerging markets. Its signature beverages, including the “Shrappe” (a desi twist on a frappe), coupled with vibrant café spaces, have made it a youth-first brand, positioning it as a serious challenger to global chains that largely focus on Tier-I cities.
