Ochre Spirits closes seed round funding

Ochre Spirits, one of India’s artisanal spirits brands based in Goa, has successfully closed a seed funding round for an undisclosed amount.

The round was led by Ah! Ventures through its First Gear platform, with additional participation from industry veterans Mukesh Singh (Founder, RoboCapital; Ex-President, IIFL Finance) and Probir Roy (MD, Alize Capital; Independent Director, Nazara Technologies; and Co-Founder, PayMate), who also serves as a strategic advisor to the brand.

The fresh capital infusion will fuel Ochre Spirits’ ambition to scale its footprint across the South and West of India. The company plans to strengthen its production capabilities and accelerate the expansion of its growing portfolio across high-potential categories, including whisky, gin, and agave spirits.

Positioned as a next-generation beverage house, Ochre Spirits has quickly gained traction in India’s premium craft spirits landscape. With this seed round, the Goa-based brand aims to build on its momentum and capture emerging opportunities in the country’s rapidly evolving spirits market.
