Pernod India initiative to support cancer patients
In a landmark initiative by Pernod Ricard India, the Bhoomi Pujan of Swasti Niwas was held this week at the National Cancer Institute, Nagpur. This upcoming residential facility will provide a home-away-from-home for cancer patients and their families, offering comfort and care during some of life’s most challenging moments.
The event was honoured by the presence of Union Minister of Home Affairs Amit Shah, Chief Minister of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis, and Guardian Minister of Nagpur & Minister of Revenue Chandrashekhar Bawankule. Their encouragement reflects a shared commitment to citizen well-being and inspires such meaningful, community-focused initiatives.
Swasti Niwas is a heartfelt extension of Pernod Ricard India’s purpose-driven philosophy as Créateurs de Convivialité—creators of togetherness. The project is designed with empathy, rooted in dignity, and built to support healing and hope. It is more than just a building; it is a symbol of solidarity and compassion, where hope begins to flourish.
Swasti Niwas stands as a milestone in compassionate care—where purpose meets action and where every patient and family finds strength, support, and a sense of belonging.
