Rémy Cointreau appoints Franck Marilly as CEO

Rémy Cointreau’s Board of Directors has officially announced the appointment of Franck Marilly as the new Chief Executive Officer, effective June 25, 2025. He will succeed Éric Vallat, who will work alongside Marilly to ensure a seamless leadership transition.

Marilly brings over three decades of experience from global luxury and cosmetics giants such as Chanel, Unilever, and Shiseido. Most recently, he served as President and CEO of the EMEA region and the global fragrance division at Shiseido, where he was instrumental in accelerating brand growth.

Recognized for his people-first leadership style, strategic acumen, and extensive international experience, Marilly is expected to drive Rémy Cointreau’s value strategy and innovation roadmap, while expanding the Group’s footprint in existing and new markets.

A graduate of EDC Paris Business School, Marilly is also a Foreign Trade Advisor of France and holds board roles with the Fédération des Entreprises de la Beauté and the Franco-Japanese Exchange Committee.
