Rūta Ziabkutė appointed Baileys' Global Marketing Manager
Diageo has elevated Rūta Ziabkutė to the role of Global Marketing Manager for Baileys, marking a significant step forward in her nearly nine-year journey with the company. Rūta announced her promotion of social media. Based in Dublin, Rūta’s new leadership role will aim to amplify the brand’s signature indulgence and foster a global culture of treating.
Rūta’s appointment follows her impactful stint as Head of Innovation for Eastern Europe, where she led innovation strategy across more than 30 countries through a distributor partner model. Her team spearheaded notable projects, including the launch of Baileys Chocolate, the Johnnie Walker Squid Games collaboration, and the regional development of the tequila category with Don Julio. She was also instrumental in creating Eastern Europe’s first Ready-to-Drink (RTD) strategy.
Earlier, as Senior Brand Manager for Global Licencing, Rūta helped embed Guinness and Baileys in popular culture through strategic collaborations with brands like Anya Hindmarch, Native Denim, and Fatti Burke.
