Roku Gin - Sakura Bloom Edition

It’s not every day that spring from across the seas arrives at your doorstep, but this season, The House of Suntory launches Roku Gin – Sakura Bloom Edition in India. Roku Sakura Bloom pays tribute to ‘Hanami’, which means “gazing at flowers”. It celebrates the Sakura flowers as they bud, bloom and fade.

The festival honors nature’s fleeting beauty, with blossoms lasting just two weeks, and marks the arrival of spring.

Roku Sakura Bloom captures the elevated essence of Sakura by distilling petals and leaves separately, then harmonizing them. It offers a soft floral sweetness, lifted by a whisper of saltiness, and layered with yuzu peel, sencha tea, gyokuro tea, and sansho pepper. Each botanical is harvested at its seasonal best, honouring the Japanese philosophy of shun: savouring flavours at their natural peak. The result is a spirit as elegant and ephemeral as the blooms that inspired it.

Following its warmly received debut earlier this year in global travel retail, including at Mumbai and Delhi duty-free stores, the Roku Gin - Sakura Bloom Edition is now making its way into select Indian markets. Its arrival comes just in time for India’s own festive and wedding season, when gatherings, gifting, and celebratory toasts are at their peak. With its blossomadorned bottle, the gin is as visually captivating as it is flavourful, making it an ideal gift or centrepiece for special occasions.

“With the global appetite for Japanese gin growing steadily, the introduction of Roku Gin - Sakura Bloom Edition in India is both timely and strategic,” said Rishi Walli, Senior Director – Marketing, Suntory Global Spirits.
