Sanjeev Banga joins World Luxury Chamber of Commerce board

Sanjeev Banga, a liquor industry veteran with over 39 years of international business experience, has been appointed as a new board member of World Luxury Chamber of Commerce (WLCC). Sanjeev brings a wealth of expertise in driving global expansion, luxury brand creation, and fostering growth in the highly competitive FMCG sector.

Currently serving as President of International Business at Radico Khaitan Ltd., Sanjeev has played a key role in expanding the company’s global footprint since 2008, helping Radico’s brands reach over 100 countries. Under his leadership, the company has launched highly acclaimed luxury brands such as Rampur Indian Single Malt and Jaisalmer Indian Craft Gin, both of which have earned international recognition for their quality and craftsmanship.

In 2024, Sanjeev was honoured with the “Business Leader of the Year” award at the Spiritz Conclave for his exceptional leadership. His career has also included significant senior roles at multinational giants such as Godfrey Phillips (a Philip Morris affiliate), Nestlé, and Seagram India. Sanjeev’s extensive knowledge of brand development and international business will be a valuable asset to the WLCC as it continues to support the growth of luxury brands and businesses in the high-end market.
