Sula’s The Source reports double-digit growth

Sula Vineyards’ The Source has reported double-digit growth in both volume and value in FY25. This surge highlights the increasing preference among Indian consumers for refined yet approachable domestic wines.

On the performance of the brand, Rajeev Samant, CEO of Sula Vineyards, remarked, “The Source range continues to tell a beautiful story of Indian winemaking—refined, expressive, and accessible. Seeing such strong double-digit growth, especially in a category where consistency and quality are key, is a testament to the love our consumers have for these wines. From hotels to homes, and now defence canteens, The Source is truly finding its place across every setting where wine belongs.”

The impressive growth of The Source is anchored by six standout varietals, each contributing to the brand’s momentum. Leading the pack is The Source Moscato, which has shown tremendous traction since its FY24 launch and clinched a Gold medal at the Asian Sparkling Masters 2024. The Source Grenache Rosé continues to garner acclaim, having earned a Gold at the Indian Wine Awards 2022, while The Source Cabernet Sauvignon has steadily gained popularity among red wine enthusiasts.

Adding to the accolades, The Source Chenin Blanc Reserve secured Silver medals at both the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles 2023 and the Decanter World Wine Awards 2025. Similarly, The Source Sauvignon Blanc Reserve was recognised with Silver medals at the Indian Wine Awards and the Decanter World Wine Awards 2025, underlining its international appeal. Another rising star in the portfolio is The Source Pinot Noir, launched in FY24, which has quickly become a consumer favourite for its finesse and elegant character.

The Source has significantly expanded its reach across major Indian markets, including Maharashtra, Karnataka, Telangana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Rajasthan, Haryana, Tamil Nadu, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, and Goa. A strong contributor to this national growth is the brand’s presence at Sula’s hospitality destination in Nashik, Asia’s most visited vineyard, where many visitors experience their first taste of wine. Further enhancing accessibility, The Source has also recently entered defence canteens, enabling broader consumer reach.

With its diverse varietal offerings, strong consumer connect, and growing footprint across the country, The Source by Sula is redefining the landscape of premium Indian wines and playing a key role in shaping India’s modern wine culture.
