Tequila Don Julio unveils Artist Edition

Tequila Don Julio has reunited with award-winning Mexican American fashion designer Willy Chavarria to unveil the new Tequila Don Julio 70 Añejo Cristalino Artist Edition Bottle, a striking tribute to Día de Muertos and modern Mexican craftsmanship.

Known for blending Chicano culture with high-fashion tailoring, Chavarria infuses the decanter with his signature red rose imagery; a symbol of passion, resilience and undying love, alongside classic Mexican iconography dressed in his celebrated designs, including the flower hat, box cutter jacket and iconic Toluca and Cascada trousers.

“My partnership with Tequila Don Julio has grown naturally, fuelled by our shared passion for Mexican heritage and craftsmanship,” said Chavarria. “This newest bottle reflects the evolution of our creative journey. Red roses come alive across the design, embodying fidelity, undying love and the timeless beauty of Mexican culture.”

The collaboration extends to the Willy Chavarria x Tequila Don Julio Cristalino Collection, a first-of-its-kind hand-crafted jewelry line made in Mexico City. The limited necklace, ring and cuff, polished in white gold and set with diamond pavé and radiant crystals, will be auctioned on Charitybuzz from November 2, with proceeds supporting the National Association of Latino Arts and Culture (NALAC) and Plataforma Arte Contemporáneo.

The limited-edition bottle, featuring the same Tequila Don Julio 70 Añejo Cristalino aged 18 months in American oak and renowned for its smooth notes of vanilla, honey and toasted oak is now available nationwide at an SRP of  $69.99 while supplies last.
