The Malabar Coast, celebrated for its rich and aromatic South Indian coastal cuisine, launched its latest outlet at M3M Atrium at Sector 57, Gurugram. The opening event drew an enthusiastic crowd of food lovers, influencers, and special guests, all eager to experience an authentic culinary journey through the coasts of Kerala, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu.

Guests at the launch were treated to a vibrant array of dishes, including delicately spiced seafood, classic Malabar biryanis, and the signature Coconut Payasam. The menu showcased the brand’s commitment to authenticity, with highlights such as Ghee Podi Idly, Chettinad Chicken Tikka, Malabar Prawn Curry, Sri Lankan Chicken Curry, and Paneer Chettinad. For biryani aficionados, both Thalassery-style vegetarian and chicken biryanis were on offer, while assorted breads and traditional desserts rounded out the experience.

The new restaurant’s interiors reflect the cultural richness of South India’s coastal regions, featuring coastal-inspired decor, handpicked art, and traditional motifs. The warm and inviting ambiance is designed to transport diners straight to the southern coast, complementing the culinary experience with a touch of regional heritage.

Adding to the lively atmosphere, the launch featured live music performances, enhancing the relaxed and soulful dining experience. Guests enjoyed the coastal delicacies while soaking in soothing melodies, further reinforcing the restaurant’s promise of an authentic South Indian cultural journey.

Founded in 2020 by Satish and Priyanka Tiwari, The Malabar Coast by The Appumm House has quickly established itself as a leading name in South Indian coastal cuisine. The new Gurugram outlet underscores its expansion plans, with the brand aiming to introduce its celebrated regional cuisine to more communities across major cities by the end of 2025.
