The Tourism and Hospitality Skill Council (THSC) has successfully concluded its women empowerment skilling initiative, launched during its 10th anniversary in August 2024. The programme trained and placed 150 women across top hospitality brands, including Hilton, Oberoi, Raffles Udaipur, and Ritz-Carlton Bangalore, with an impressive remuneration package.

Encouraged by its success, THSC will now expand the initiative to train 300 more women in 2025. “This goes beyond job creation; it’s about empowerment and building a more inclusive workforce,” said Rajan Bahadur, CEO, THSC.

Chairperson Jyoti Mayal added, “Empowering women through skill is a movement towards an equitable industry.”

The programme included technical and soft skills training, with key support from partners like The Job Plus, ensuring smooth execution and impactful outcomes.
