United Breweries Ltd. (UBL) has earned national recognition for its continued pursuit of manufacturing excellence and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), winning multiple accolades at the 53rd CII National Kaizen Competition 2025, organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Institute of Quality, TPM Club India.

At this year’s competition, UBL’s Odisha plant secured a Gold in the Renovative category, reflecting its commitment to sustainable operational improvements and transformative practices. The company’s Ludhiana unit followed closely with a Silver in the same category. Additionally, UBL’s Nelamangala and Waluj MIDC plants each earned a Silver in the Innovative category, reaffirming the company’s focus on driving efficiency, measurable impact and competitive excellence across its operations.

This year’s event witnessed participation from several leading companies across sectors and was graced by industry leaders such as Muralidhara Rao, Director of ACE Designers Ltd., and S. Narayana Prasad, CEO of Triveni Turbines.
