William Grant acquires The Famous Grouse & Naked Malt
William Grant & Sons (WG&S) has completed the acquisition of renowned Scotch whisky brands The Famous Grouse and Naked Malt from The 1887 Company, marking a significant expansion of its global spirits portfolio.
Scotland’s best-selling whisky The Famous Grouse is celebrated for its rich heritage and international appeal while Naked Malt is a rising star in the blended malt category known for its growing fan base and market potential.

The two brands join WG&S’s prestigious lineup that includes Glenfiddich, The Balvenie, Hendrick’s Gin, and Monkey Shoulder. A dedicated transition team is in place to ensure seamless continuity for customers and consumers.
