William Grant & Sons appoints Kartik Mohindra as MD for India

William Grant & Sons (WG&S) has announced the appointment of Kartik Mohindra as Managing Director of India, effective September 30, 2025. He succeeds Sachin Mehta, who will transition to an international role as the Managing Director of Canada.

Kartik joins WG&S with over 26 years of experience in marketing and sales, having previously served as Chief Marketing Officer & Head of Global Business Development at Pernod Ricard India. Known for driving brand growth and innovation, he has played a pivotal role in shaping the market presence of iconic labels such as Chivas Regal, The Glenlivet, Absolut, and Jameson.

Kartik’s predecessor, Sachin Mehta will be taking up an exciting international role, within the WG&S business, as Managing Director, Canada. In the past nine years he has made a significant impact, driving rapid business growth, strengthening the Company’s presence and achieving leadership for its portfolio of premium spirits brands in India.
