ZLB23-Kyoto speakeasy bar turns two

In the two years since its inception, ZLB23-Kyoto speakeasy bar at The Leela Palace, Bengaluru, has firmly established itself as a leader in the world of masterful mixology. As it marks its second anniversary this February, the award-winning bar continues not only to redefine India’s cocktail culture but also marks the global cocktail scene by bringing international acclaim with a series of some of the world’s best bar takeovers.

ZLB23 is ranked among Asia’s 50 Best Bars in 2024, a distinction that underscores its rapid rise and innovative approach. It remains India’s only speakeasy in the five-star luxury hotel category, further solidifying its status as a destination for discerning cocktail enthusiasts.

To commemorate this milestone, ZLB23 has curated an exclusive lineup of bar takeovers throughout February, welcoming some of the world’s most celebrated bars, including Jigger & Pony from Singapore, renowned for its refined hospitality; Barro Negro from Athens, celebrated for its innovative tequila and mezcal creations; and Argo from Hong Kong, known for pioneering new cocktail concepts.

Extending its reach beyond India, ZLB23 will also showcase its distinctive mixology at The Elephant Room in Singapore and Cosmo Pony in Jakarta, bringing its signature craftsmanship to an international audience.
